In today’s era, computers have become as essential as inhaling oxygen. Almost all professionals from various fields greatly rely on computers to carry out all sorts of work, be it related to any given field. Being a professional, I use a computer as an imperative tool to work on any of my projects. I happen to be a lecturer at a prestigious University and have to prepare presentations regularly in the University. I prefer to make presentations accentuated with facts and figures derived from the Internet. I mainly work on Microsoft PowerPoint to make presentations for the lectures that I deliver in the class.

Speaking about PowerPoint, I had the older version running on my computer system and I wished to install a new one. I tried to download it from the Internet on my own but it was futile and I had no clue what to do next. I tried to fiddle around with the computer for some time but it felt like running around in a pitch black room with no idea as to where the door was. So I left it the way it was and went back to work on the older version, as I had some pending presentations to prepare for my lectures. But I was taken aback on seeing that even the older version was not working anymore now. I was in a big mess. I felt stupid for trying to do something that was not my cup of tea. I tried searching the Internet for finding a solution to the problem that I was facing, but from the million sites that I could gather, I couldn’t find a single relevant one for my problem!

I didn’t give up and I was still hard-pressed on resolving my problem, when I heard a knock at my door. When I opened the door, it was James, my fellow professor. I stood there wondering why he had come over and he probably guessed that I had forgotten that I had invited him over for coffee jujst a while back. I was losing track of everything because of the grave problem I was having with my PowerPoint! I apologized and told him that my computer was giving me a hard time. He told me that had he been at my place, he would have called up iYogi immediately. I gave him a puzzled look, as I had no idea what he was talking about. He then told me that iYogi is a tech support company which had helped him in sorting out the problems related to his computer. He added that he was quite satisfied with their services. He also knew that I don’t like to easily part with my hard-earned cash. So quickly he also added that their services come at a reasonable price.

What more could have I wanted, he gave me the number for this company and asked me to make the call. But before making the call, I felt I should carry out a quick search about the company on the Internet. So, I immediately typed in the name of the company and started to browse through all the information that I could get my hands on. On the other hand, James was busy making coffee while I gave it a deep thought whether to make the call or not. After reviewing their website, I decided to give it a shot. By the time James got two cups of steaming hot coffee, I was making a call to the tech support company. Within a few minutes it was answered and without wasting any single minute the person from the other side asked me the problem that I was facing with my computer system. After I told him everything, he asked me a few questions and directed me to follow some instructions. The technician then connected to my computer remotely and performed some steps on it, while I watched. I was surprised by the speed at which everything was being taken care of and by the time I finished my coffee, the technician told me that the problem has been taken care of. I thanked him and was more than glad to see that my computer was working as good as new and soon got ready to re-work on my presentation with James giving me valuable inputs for the same.
